You start with a short word. Each turn, wedge in one letter anywhere (front, back or between two letters) so that it makes a new word.
Your score is the length of your last word. Keep going until no letter fits anywhere, or press Give up to stop where you are.
Easy moves can lead to dead ends: cow → cows → crows → crowds stops at six letters, while crowded makes seven. Think a step ahead.
Once a day you get a Double: press it, pick a gap, and put in two letters side by side, as in bright ⇉ brighten. Spend it well.
Tap a gap between the tiles, then tap a letter. A new puzzle arrives every day at midnight Eastern time.
